Antique Engagement Ring Art Deco 2.86 Old European Cut Diamond in Platinum

This original antique art deco engagement ring features a 2.86 old European cut diamond in platinum.  The center diamond is quite wide across the face yet is fairly shallow.  This serves two purposesit allows the diamond to show like a larger stone and it sits low on the finger, making it easy to wear.  The stone is held in place by four corner prongs and an open basket which allows for maximum sparkle. Two round cut sapphires add a splash of color and accent the center stone and round it this magnificent piece.  This late art deco engagement ring is a stunning and impactful now as it was 80 years ago when it was created!
