Edwardian Cushion Sapphire & Halo Diamond Engagement Ring

This Edwardian cushion sapphire halo diamond engagement ring is from the turn of the century.  The 2.57 carat cushion cut center sapphire is simply stunning with its navy blue tone and is full of life.  The center stone is surrounded by a cluster of  ten (10) old european cut diamonds which provide a stunning contrast of color.  The top of the mounting is finished in platinum, while the bottom half of the mounting is a buttery 18k yellow gold.  The under carriage has beautiful scrolling filigree detailing which allows light to move through the ring from all angles.  This ring is a show stopper from both near and far is one of the finest examples of Edwardian craftsmanship we have seen in quite some time!
